About This Course:

This comprehensive course teaches IT professionals how to effectively manage and maintain an organization’s Azure infrastructure. In particular, participants will learn how to manage Azure subscriptions, secure identities, and administer the infrastructure with best practices in mind. Additionally, the course covers essential topics such as configuring virtual networking, connecting Azure with on-premises sites, and managing network traffic to ensure secure and efficient data flow. Moreover, students will learn to implement storage solutions that are scalable and secure, create and manage virtual machines, and deploy web apps and containers. Furthermore, the course explores how to back up and share data, as well as how to monitor and optimize solutions for performance and security. By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of how to manage Azure environments in a professional setting.

Audience:

This course is for Azure Administrators. The Azure Administrator implements, manages, and monitors identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment. The Azure Administrator will provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate.

Prerequisites: 

Successful Azure Administrators start this role with experience in virtualization, networking, identity, and storage.

• Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks.
• Understanding of network configurations, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.
• Understanding of Active Directory concepts, including users, groups, and role-based access control.
• Understanding of resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations.
